December 16th, 2008 | Author: Danielle Harling

Hip Hop groups Souls Of Mischief and Tanya Morgan [click to read] are just a few of the acts lined up for the December 16 show at New York's legendary Knitting Factory. The show will serve as one of the last Hip Hop shows to be performed at the Knitting Factory before they close their doors at the end of the year.

The Knitting Factory will officially close its doors at the end of the year and will re-open next year at a new, smaller location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Since it's opening in 1987, The Knitting Factory has served as an outlet for both independent artists and well known acts.

"The Knitting Factory has been a constant supporter of indie Hip Hop for years and it's sad to see it go, but I'm happy to be a part of it's history," Tanya Morgan's Von Pea told HipHopDX.

Other acts performing at the December 16 show include A-OK Collective, Homebody Sandman [click to read] and more. For more information on the show visit www.knittingfactory.com.

The Knitting Factory also has venues in Hollywood, Boise, and Spokane.

Shout out to the homie Don!
